The Cover
Immunofluorescence detection of protein kinase C {delta} (PKC{delta}) targeting to mitochondria in response to oxidative stress. The 293 cells transfected to express GFP-tagged PKC{delta} were treated with hydrogen peroxide. Mitochondria were visualized by staining with the mitochondrion-selective permeant MitoTracker red. Overlay of PKC{delta} (green) and mitochondrial (red) signals demonstrated targeting of PKC{delta} to mitochondria (green+red- >yellow/orange). For details, see article by P. K.
