PC12 cells were treated with no reagent (None, Lane 1), or succinyl acetone alone (SA, Lane 2), NGF alone (Lane 3) or NGF and succinyl acetone (NGF+SA, Lane 4). mRNAs were extracted and subjected to Northern blotting analysis with radiolableled cDNA probes for NF-L, rVAT, Rab1B, p21 c-Ki-Ras, and ß-actin. Radioactivity was revealed and measured by using a PhosphorImager (Molecular Dynamics).
