Fig. 2. T-STAR expression is down-regulated in VH10/SV immortal cells. A, Northern blot analysis of T-STAR expression levels in pre- and postcrisis VH10/SV cells. Twenty µg of separately isolated fractions of RNA from both precrisis VH10/SV40 cells and postcrisis VH10/SV40 cells were loaded, and after blotting, a probe for T-STAR mRNA was hybridized to the filter. B, the T-STAR probe was hybridized to a Northern blot containing 2 µg of poly(A)+ mRNA isolated from precrisis and postcrisis cells. C, Northern blot analysis of expression levels of T-STAR in primary VH10 cells and in pre- and postcrisis VH10/SV cells. Twenty µg of RNA were loaded. A probe recognizing GAPDH was used as a control for equal loading.
