Fig. 2. STAT5B increases the transforming potential of v-Src in soft agar colony-forming assay. Stably cotransfected NIH-3T3 cells (104 cells; see the Fig. 1 legend) were plated into 2 ml of 0.3% soft agar with 2 µg/ml puromycin and 800 µg/ml G418 in triplicate. Colonies were counted and photographed after 11days of incubation. Data are expressed as the means ± SD of triplicate assays.
